Ive followed a couple tutorials exactly on how to add custom music to skyrim via the creation kit and I end up with the same result which is when its uploaded to bethesda it shows up as only 16kb even though theres at least 300mb of music and plays none besides the original.

Edit: I do not have an archive or bsa file nor do i know what Im doing regarding them have watched a few tutorials and they dont make sense nothing talks about audio files and an archive or bsa file

Sounds like you tried uploading your raw esp plugin. It should be in a 7zip or RAR archive, along with your music files (and other support files, if any). The content of your 7zip archive should mirror how the files are to be installed in the user's data directory.

Look at some other mod's 7zip archive to see how it's meant to be structured.

Experiencing issues when adding custom music to Skyrim through the Creation Kit can be frustrating, but there could be a few reasons for the problem you're encountering. Here are some troubleshooting steps to help you address the issue:

  1. File Format and Compression: Ensure that your music files are in a compatible format such as WAV or MP3. Also, check the compression settings to make sure they are appropriate for the game.

  2. Encoding: Double-check that your music files are properly encoded. Incorrect encoding can cause issues with playback.

  3. File Paths: Make sure that the file paths in the Creation Kit match the actual locations of your music files on your computer.

  4. Volume Level: Ensure that the volume levels of your custom music are set appropriately within the Creation Kit.

  5. Mod Installation: If you're trying to add custom music as part of a mod, make sure that the mod is installed correctly in the game directory.

  6. Mod Dependencies: Check if your custom music mod has any dependencies that need to be installed alongside it.

  7. Mod Load Order: If you're using multiple mods, the order in which they load can impact their functionality. Adjust the load order to see if that resolves the issue.

  8. Mod Conflicts: Some mods can conflict with each other, causing unexpected behavior. Disable other mods temporarily to see if the custom music starts working.

  9. Creation Kit Updates: Ensure that you're using an updated version of the Creation Kit, as older versions may have compatibility issues.

  10. Bethesda.net Upload: The issue might not be with the Creation Kit itself, but rather with the upload process to Bethesda.net. Double-check the settings and options when uploading the mod.

Hello people!

In my mod, MusiQ https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/115315

conditions not works as expected.

Locatioan has own music list, and tracks should played or not In connection with running quest or quest stage.

I want to make a big mod, which would have sounded like a script depending on the situation, immersing in the atmosphere and betraying cinematics.
Just need to figure out the conditions work correctly

For example

two tracks in music type of Shrine of Talos.

1st should play anytime in Windhelm and Markart Shrine, except in Markart, on quest stage MS01 on 70 and to final quest.

2nd should play conversely, in MS01 stage 70 to end.

+ has conditions [OR] for another quest/place

Your conditions in the first screen capture are inconsistent. You are requiring that MS01 not be running AND that its stage be less or equal to 70. You probably want the first condition to be "OR" instead of "AND", or perhaps that the MS01 be running.

You should re-read the CKwiki section on "AND" and "OR" conditions. It is confusing and may require more than one pass through.
