In game companion creation wanted.

Every time I try and use GECK it just stops responding when trying to load the New Vegas esm. I have RR Companions installed but I can't find out where to go, or if it's even working. (said in the notes it was currently unavailable.) So what would be nice, is a mod that not only lets you make companions, but it would be nice to know WHERE you go in the game to do it. Someone posted around two years ago he tried posting a mediafire link that had a fix for the GECK issue, but it kept getting removed because they thought it was malware. I looked online for the location, but I find is either the F3 mod, the NV mod or vids of the F3 mod but not of the NV edition. The page for NV Edition has no images that would point me in the right direction, so it's like they uploaded an unfinished product and left it there knowing we can't use it... O.o Sorry, but that's annoying. Another thing, don't point me to NCCS because I've looked and it doesn't look in game and as I said, GECK keeps messing up. IF RR Companion Vault New Vegas Edition works, would someone please psot some images or something showing where the player goes to use the mod?

Unfortunately both RR and NCCS are just systems that allow you to create and use companions for that system outside the game and then use them in game more simply and with more stability (at least as advertised, hadn't tried my hand at companion creation yet) than creating one without them. There is no "in game" spot to go to to create a companion with them.

 

Companion Share and Recruit allows you to go and recruit a number of NPCs, but that is about as close as it gets to what you seem to want.

 

 

As to your Geck problem, I had one very similar until I made sure to take the Geck download and unpack it in the Fallout New Vegas folder itself.
