theluckyone
I've run into a texture problem. My normal Khajit textures are fine (after you get 'em naked, heh heh). After exploring the Doznot (sp?) cave, I discovered some Khajit ladies who's legs are untextured. They're coming up pink/purple. I lured them out of the cave (I ran screaming, they follow eagerly), then into weapon's range of the guards, who promptly dispatched them. Remove their "Amazon's Cobalt/Leather/Bronze Armor", and the textures go normal again. I did a bit of research, and discovered the little bit about Oblivion not actually slapping the armor over the naked body, but replacing the body section model with those included with the armor. That's all fine and dandy... but how does it handle the separate races? E.G.; if an Imperial lady slaps on the armor, and there's an Imperial mesh & texture set up, that's fine. Slap that mesh & texture on a Khajit, and I'm gonna wonder who shaved the kitty (keep your mind out of the gutter  ). I had enough brains to research the problem... noted that the Amazons were added by OOO, so I opened up the esp in TES:CS. Found the armor, and noted the location of the ground mesh. Used Nifscope to open the armor mesh (not the ground mesh), and discovered that the lower body textures were referenced using the forward slash, not the back slash. I corrected that, but I still have purple legs. I confirmed that the referenced textures are readable by GIMP, but I imagine that Oblivion might be fussier. Any ideas on what I can do to fix this?
