GX I'm wondering if there's any other use for the precursors I made that aren't going to be used with the new method, such as the matches, iodine, and brake fluid. Since these are ingredients used in meth sometimes (according to the site i looked at) I'm wondering if the ingredients were using now can semi-realistically be refined into the new ingredients.

befo on the subject of triage, I wasn't necessarily pleased with how it came out, which is part of the reason I went to Skyrim for awhile. I could rework it all, but I saw a mod doing pretty much exactly what I wanted, it's in beta now, I may check it out later, and if I like it I may not include my own triage. If i did though, I'd do it up with new model/textures for bandages, suture kits, etc.

The alcohol crafting is already pretty much done, at the moment the recipes only turn out the vanilla equivalents, I may make some "home-brewed" models but then you wouldn't have the ability to make the vanilla alcohols, which are much rarer with the restructured leveled lists, and are used for some recipes, so it may be more practical to just leave them with vanilla output. What do you guys think? I may make some more, only craftable drinks like cider.

patches are aways off, but when I do make them all, I'll also make a merged patch that includes all the mods I use, so if anyone has the same mods theyll luck out :p IMCN is the one most needing a patch, as our mods overwrite alot of each other. Alot of drugs will increase your mood, damage nutrients, give you stimulants etc.

I'm happy to say I started working on my first dialogue last night, and got the first drug deal all set up, sadly it's not voiced, but it will do for now.

The problem here is that red phosphorous, iodine, and whatever happens to be in this "brake fluid" aren't actually precursors, in a strict sense of the word, but reagents rather.

Precursor-

Chemistry, Biochemistry. a chemical that is transformed into another compound, as in the course of a chemical reaction, and therefore precedes that compound in the synthetic pathway: Cholesterol is a precursor of testosterone.

Reagent-

a substance that, because of the reactions it causes, is used in analysis and synthesis.

So you see, what we have here are substances that allow us to modify an existing one. In order to synth a new chem, we need molecules that are structurally very similar to our goal chem. This is our precursor. The materials that allow us to modify our precursor into our wanted chem are our reagents. You have reagents, basic ones, and nothing to convert with the reagents (not that having something else to convert would necessarily mean you have the right reagents to convert it, either).

That's the best, non-technical description I could give.

If you wanted to go full-blown godmode you could implement some kind of massive reagent and precursor system, have a place to purchase labware, and run real drug syntheses of all kinds. That would be neat, IMO. But also a ridiculous amount of work. If you do want to take it there, though, let me know and I'll lend a hand.
