AlexxEG
All Meshes, Textures, Sounds, Menus, and other goes in Data folder, then overwrite. If it's just Meshes and Textures, it's probely a replacer for something that's already ingame like a retex, so you wont need any plugin (.esp / .esm) so nothing will appear in fallout mod manager. If there is a .esp or .esm and meshes, textuers, and sound folders put that in data folder to, then you can check it in mod manager. You dosen't have to do anything to folders. They either "activate" them self, or activated with a .esp from the mod your trying to install but load .esm first and after fallout.esm, and .esp under .esm's
smcmullen2
Find the folders like textures, meshes, sound. This is the level that belongs into the Data-Folder of the Game. For example in your screenshot of the Data folder there is a folder named "Type3 V2 TexturePack" open it once, open the next level and so on until you find a folder named textures ---> this belongs into the Data Dir of your game. Look at the screenshot I've posted there you can see how it finally has to look like ---> look into the last 2 lines I can't see your screen shot. All I see is a red "X." I think I understand what you're saying though. I'll put the downloaded textures folder into Data. Then I'll have the mod folder "Textures" AS WELL AS the archive compressed folder "Fallout - textures." Because they are replacement files, the game will go to the uncompressed items first and use them. I won't have a mod to launch in the launcher, because they are simply replacement files. Is there a definitive way to check if it's working?
AlexxEG
Okey heres a screenshot: screenshot was to big to upload here, but it's here to: http://fallout3nexus.com/imageshare/image.php?id=4929 1. The thing to the very right is the data folder, I heard you saying something about the Fallout - Textures and stuff, keep those in there at all time^^Okey, from the folder in top - left is a downloaded mod with Textures, Meshes, Sound folders and a plugin/.esp/.esm. These you copy into Fallout's data folder, open Fallout Mod Manager (Down left corner) and check it. 2. The other FOLDER in left down corner is one of the type 3 raider textures, here you simple drag textures folder inside fallout's data folder, start the game, find a raider, kill it, take her clothes if she's naked it worked. If the skin goes purple or have a jungle underwear thing get: http://fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=944 and activate it. You can run it from everywhere. You do the same everytime you download a replacer that just contain mesh, tex, or sound folder as in step 2. There might be replacers with plugin, but there you check it of in mod manager after the put the needed folders and plugin into data folder EDIT: When you replace something you MOST overwrite just incase
smcmullen2
Okay, I'm getting it. Thanks for your help. Here's the problem I was having after the original help (which worked). ... I'm a jackass. :D I thought all female characters would look different. I'm playing a male character. The raider mod I used is labeled backwards. The tatoos I was looking for were tribal, instead of colorful. Because I hadn't picked anybody naked, I didn't realize it was working. haha. Good stuff. I feel bad for consol guys. PC mods will had pounds of enjoyment to these games. I did Oblivion on 360, but now I'm regretting it. :P Thanks all!!
