Dark Ranger

Heya.

Anyone created or considered a mod based around the Dark Ranger from WarCraft lore? *raises flame-proof riot shield*

 

Yeah yeah, try again, I'm wearing flame-immune Enclave Hellfire power armor.

 

In seriousness, I think it would be an interesting piece for Oblivion. The outfit, maybe a unique bow and a dark, nondescript quiver for the arrows (We are SICK of shiny, uber-detailed quivers. The people demand normalcy!). A long, heavy-but-mobile cloak (dark too - theme, anyone?).

 

Maybe even a state of being, based in a quest line or freeform, similar to vampirism or mod-applied lycanthropy. Some event kills you (for story's sake) and you find yourself in some tomblike sanctum. Long story short, you end the thing and get the summation of "You are now a Dark Ranger."

Dunno about males - never met a male Dark Ranger; and if I did, I mistook him for a Death Knight and smought him! XD
