lazyskeever
https://www.dropbox.com/s/misw7pou7lihlaq/ism3.zip Right, so I am closing in on updating Immersive Sounds - Magic to the next version. This time I have gone back and redone most of the sounds I had for the first release, which focused on the non-destruction schools. One of the most common complaints was they were too sci-fi sounding. I think this was due to the droning sounds with a lot of lower frequency energy in them, perhaps giving them some humming machine-like quality.I have re-overhauled conjuration and illusion and I'm pretty satisfied with how they are now. It's the alteration school I'm really stuck on. I don't really have any sense of direction for it, aside from the oak/stone/ironflesh spells which all have separate, appropriate sounds now. Any suggestions are welcome. Other than that I have also overhauled the restoration sounds again. Moved away from the choir but still wanted a benevolent, etheral-like quality to it so I created a soundscape with a sus4 chord. Lightning Bolt has been changed once again. I wanted to take it further away from the typical buzzing electric sounds so I went for a snappy, almost whip-like sound at the start so it's more like a jolt than a buzz.I've made new enchanted weapon unsheathing sounds too. Perhaps they should also have a "tail" sound which fades in after with the appropriate elemental sound.
