Framrate drop with OBSE 117

All,

Been away from oblivion for a bit, just did a clean re-install and started adding old mods (Oscuros and Midas, ) and searching for some new ones.

I decided to give Deadly reflexes a whirl, and liked it a lot, but my controls kept crapping out on me. ( I wasn't able to shield bash at random times, for example.) I traced the problem back to OBSE, and I downloaded the update for it.

Then the real problem started:

My framerate CRASHED! HORRIBLY!

With the installation of OBSE, my framerate dropped from a CONSTANT 75

to a measly 11!!

Pardon the yelling, it's a bit frustrating.

I disable Deadly Reflex and Frostcrag Reborn, both of which I know use OBSE rather heavily, and still saw no improvement.

Then I ran the ORIGINAL EXE for oblivion, not the OBSE loader, and I got the framerate I had before. So, the problem seems to be OBSE.

Now, I'm willing to tone the graphics back from the absolute maximum like I have them on, but I would really like to find that I simply did something wrong. I find it hard to believe that OBSE can result in a 75% drop in performance...

If anyone has encountered this, or has any fix ideas for me, that would be fantastic.

All,

Just disable Enhanced Music Plugin for OBSE and that seemed to fix it. I would still like to figure out WHY that plugin caused such a Hemorrhage in framrate, but it is no longer stopping me from saving Tamrial from the forces of Mehrunes Dagon. Sorry for the quick post/edit
