[MOD REQUEST] Appearance Change

A guy already made it + world plot/flag editor, saw it on Youtube, but he won't post it on the nexus because he "doesn't like the site", he only posted some hungarian site only, free for them :sad:

Any chance you got a link or more details on this guy?

 

....Because I'm about ready to enter a Warlock pact in service to whomever gets this feature into my game save.

I've tried, he very hates the nexus and every members lol, I just said only nexus and he is banned me from discord, BUT he wasn't full of a*****, after my ban, I got copy his Save editor + cc mod. The save editor is like the mass effect save editor, I can change any flag, plot, romance, world state. He did amazing work. About the CC mod, rescpec my character there is everything like when you are starting a new game. He did what Larius did not.

 

 

If you have a copy, upload it somewhere and post it so we can see. I'd like to know what he did if he exists

Hmm there are indeed a fair few mods that are either stuck behind a paywall (patreon for example) and others only hosted on "odd" sites. :/

Could be interesting if modders were to have a look at those and see if it's 1) Legit and 2) Doable ^^

there's no way this guy who can't even properly quote forum posts without screwing it up is the one guy who knows about this mod. If there was a functional Mass Effect style save editor for BG3 already, it would be *known*, no matter what.

 

The guy is a full of s#*! troll.

I have my Hairstyle Changer mod now over on the main Nexus site. I know it isn't a full customizer but it allows you to change hairstyle after starting the game so I thought some of you here might like to check it out:

Good try but this won't cut it tbh. The mod can't change Hair Color and it also changes hair for EVERYONE who uses that hairstyle in the game, which is very weird...

 

That last one is a serious limitation.

 

At this point only Larian can add a proper appearance change. They said it is being worked on and will most probably arrive in Patch 2 (which unfortunately will take some time, probably a couple of months).

10+ hours in and, like an idiot, just assumed that an RPG with this amount of care put into it would have a way to change your appearance (You know, at least later on in the game). I would have remade this character earlier on if I had know there wasn't the option. Bit too late for that now, considering the time put into this run. To think a simple google search would have saved me this dilemma.

 

I'd hate to potentially wait months for this feature to be patched in by Larian but I also don't expect a modder to work their ass off if the mod would soon be obsolete. I'm assuming it isn't an easy endeavor or we'd have one by now.

The way Larian has made Character Creation it is not easy at all to mod it. They have essentially completely locked appearance change options.

 

Honestly, only Larian can fix this. Unfortunately, Patch 2 is many months away. Probably by early November considering that they first have to release Patch 1 which will include huge bug fixes according to them.
