Need help... a guide... anything

I have a lot of experience modding games, going back almost 20 years. I can't seem to get mods to work on BG3 to save my life. I just built a new computer, installed Vortex (God I hate that damn program). I selected s mod to install and Vortex said I needed LSLib. I installed that and Vortex says it installed properly. Then I selected another mod and it said I needed Full Release Mod Fixer installed. So I did. Near as I can tell none of the mods I installed work, and I am not even throwing an error. It's like they are off in the aether. If anyone has any experience getting Faerun Unlimited or CHooseYourStats to work, please, for the love of Selune, help a brother out.

The only weirdness on my end, I had the pre-release installed, but never played. I downloaded and installed the full release before I ever played the game or even attempted a mod.

Well if you hate vortex then that makes things super easy.

All you got to do is get the baldur's gate 3 mod manager.

So to start off with you, just drop the patch fixer into your mods folder. That's inside your app data folders and windows.

That mod that almost all 11 module requires is quite literally drop and play. Once you put it in the mods folder it'll do it's thing

From there you open up the mod manager. You go to files import mod select the mods that you've downloaded. The program will do its thing and you will see the mods that you've downloaded appear on a list on the right hand side. Now all you got to do is drag it from the right hand side to the list on the left hand side.

Final step is there's two save buttons at the top. The first save button saves the mod order. The second save button sends that mod order to the game.

Then you're all set. Just you know, the mod fixer specifically states not to use it with the mod manager or vortex. Just install it manually as I mentioned above

Sorry, I was using the text to speech so there's a lot of wackiness in that middle section of my reply.

Full Release Mod Fixer is required by most mods for some reason and it's literally drop and play. Drop it in the mod folder, then use the mod manager to install everything else
