starting off a mod project. all tips/pointers welcome.

Hello.

 

I have decided that I wish to embark on a project, the scope of which depends on how big and customizable the game is going to be.

 

The mod's aim is to introduce a new class to the game : Artificer, alongside it's specs.

however, this will be a long journey, I am aware of that. But I wish to start it anyway. But I need resources, Maybe even people who would agree to help me in the project. I have some prior experience with modding, So I am familiar with how time consuming/complicated it can get.

My first step would be to learn how to modify the BG3 engine and edit/add values such as editing /adding items and abilities.

To this end. I would appreciate all help and resources that I can be provided from this community. are there any videos/pages that the community can suggest to me to increase my knowledge in regards to Baldur's Gate 3's modding?

I will post in this thread if there are any updates/changes in regards to this project.
