Steam Deck Modding? - Don't want to download game on PC

Hello,

I haven't seen a lot of discussion about modding Baldur's Gate 3 on the Steam Deck yet. Most of the tutorials I come across are saying the same thing: Download the game, mod manager, and mods on a PC then transfer them to the Steam Deck. The thing is, Baldur's Gate 3 is a huge game and not everyone wants to download the game twice (I use my only PC for work so I'd prefer not to install games on it). Has anyone had any success with installing mods directly on the Steam Deck?

I've seen its possible to manually edit the modsettings.isx(.isk? not sure, sorry) to add mods that way, but I don't know where to find the data needed to do this. Any advice would be appreciated!
