Garzhad Posted June 21, 2009 Share Posted June 21, 2009 Hi, sorry if this was mentioned anywhere else(i ran a site search, nothing pertaining to this came up) but how would one go about making a conditional AI script, that sets a companion to check the distance to target, and equip and use a pre-determined weapon according to that distance? Like a script to make the companion equip a combat shotgun if the combat target is within a 750 radius, an assault rifle if the target is outside the 750 radius, and a melee weapon if the target is within a 128 radius? Say your sweeping a building, generally room to room combat will be very close range, hence the companions will use the combat shotgun, but then your fighting in a long hallway or on a catwalk, the combat target range check script then makes them switch to the assault rifle.
