once you DL it, just double click on a mesh, it will auto load on screen for you, then do your thing

Dling it wasn't the problem its installing nifskope.

i went here:http://niftools.sourceforge.net/wiki/NifSkope/Compile and got completely lost.

i tried to follow directions as much as possible but i'm not very computer literate.

i thought installing nifskope was as easy as DL an installer but the wiki page i went to

says i need to creat batch files and download source code seperately.

i'm not the the shapest tool in the shed when it coms to stuff like that.

Note:that page i linked to? i got stuck on the compile nifskope step.

i copied the code provided and couldn't get it to work

never mind.

all this is way too much trouble just to get one painting i requested into the game.

i just started modding a week ago and i dont have enough experience yet.

i've only owned my computer for a few months now and installing source code and

creating batch file and all this other crap is a little beyond my capabilities right now.

if that painting i requested is fixed so its just drag, drop, and load the nif, please let me know.

Why are you still talking about batch files etc ?

Nifskop installs just like any program.

Just get the installer package.

Don't install it to you Oblivion folder however.

You will want it in the future it is a very handy and useful tool.

btw: If you don't already have it get Oblivion Mod Manager as well -

even more important. Read the help notes in the program as well.
