Guest Messenjah
Hey, is there any way to copy a cell from one esp into another esp and combine them? Or well any data from one esp into another? The reason I'm asking, is that I would like to create a rather large mod but I would like other modders possibly to help develop the project as well at some point. I'm looking specifically at someone to basically landscape it, add new characters and quests.... ecs. Basically, I have been working on a dance club/strip club/casino run by a wasteland mafia but I was trying to figure out where to add the outside structure of the building into the wasteland that wouldn't look funny or out of place. I also don't really like the idea of altering the landscape that much and the world itself is pretty cluttered as is. So my idea is to make a small town based around the building. Maybe a trading post of sorts. Bunkhouses made out of trailers, some trading posts for modders to sell clothing, armor, and weapons... a building for the mafia to live in and a theater. Just kind of a neat little town of sorts. However, a project like this would be immense to take on for someone like me with such little time. I also want to work on other mods that will interconnect into a companion mod that relates to my current project. I was thinking about adding a parking lot and having a driver that you meat in the wasteland that drives you to this town for about 100-200 caps. Any thoughts? Zuzaski
When working with multiple peoples, have a main esm that has everything that is considered complete in it, and each person have their own espIt requires a bit of juggling the plugin merger and fo3edit If you cant figure a placement in the wasteland consider GTShttp://fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3157(this way the place could be located anywhere in the world) Be careful with planning big mods; its too easy to want to do everything and get discouraged Check out my super linky list for tutorials and suchhttp://thenexusforums.com/index.php?showtopic=112021 mafia in the wasteland sounds sweet; good luck
Guest Messenjah
I agree, I'm actually a little concerned about the project becoming too big as well. Basically, I just wanted to make the casino/strip club/dance club. I've got the lighting and the casino part figured out but the strip club and dance club will be a little bit complex considering that I will have to script a variety of dancers with different scheduals and different dances to perform. I also need to set up quests for about 5 different characters and possibly set up a small town if I can. Basically, I was thinking about just setting up a car and a driver in a little shack and building a small area inside of a box canyon with a small town inside. Maybe just the casino, some trailer courts and a motel and some trading booths.
Guest Messenjah
What is the advantage of the GTS system? Can't I just create my own worldspace?
