Monk starting equipment

I am trying to change the monk starting equipment but cannot find any entries to the monk in the equipment.txt. Does anyone know where the monk equipment can be modified?

I'm not a modder myself and I have not unpacked the game. However I have used another mod to modify the starting equipment. If I see this correctly than the Monk is under a different equipment.txt.

 

Try:

 

Data > Public > ShareDev > Stats > Generated

 

There is an equipment.txt with the Monk entry.

is there a sharedev folder? I only have the shared folder there and the equipment.txt in there does not have a monk entry

I use this mod as my base because I don't want to deal with extracting game files: Oathbreaker Armor Set (Release Ready) at Baldur's Gate 3 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com)

 

It has the file structure I mentioned. The equipment.txt I mentioned controls Monk, Vengeance Paladin, Jaheira and Minsc.

I modified the Paladins and it works. As this is an overwrite mod I would assume the game has the same file structure.

 

You can download that mod, delete the equipment.txt under shared and only use the one under SharedDev. You have to restore the Vengeance Paladin gear if it annoys you that the mod changes it to the Oathbreaker armour but it gives you the Monk template.
