OK lets get started. I have made a mod that creates an island right when you come out of the Imperial sewers.

1. I have absolutely no idea how to make a Map Marker so I can just teleport to there when I am far away.

2. When I start using textures to color the piece of ground I Raised it seems to cut off at a rectangular angle and makes the texture look silly.

3. I also added an npc. When I added him in TESCS he shows up, However he does not seem to want to appear at all ingame.

Thanks. #1 POST :D

Owk. a bit vaguely described, but I'll try to answer them...

1: adding a mapmarker, or having it visible and possible to travel to immediately?

Mapmarkers themselves can be found in your object-window in..WordObjects->Statics->then look for MapMarker.

To make mapmarkers visible or able to travel to. Double click on them when you've placed them, go to the 'Marker Data' tab

and click the 'visible' and 'Can travel to' boxes.

2: Using the left mouse button in the landscape editor lets you change heights of lands.. the right one applies textures..

To flatten land to its surroundings.. click in the box near 'Flatten Verticals' and smooth your land.

3: There are a couple of possiblities, these are a few of them:

- Do you have the latest patch of oblivion installed?

- Did you select your mod inside the Data Files, of the oblivion Launcher (thingie with the music, before you go to oblivion :D )

- Did you save your mod to another file (mymod.esp) and do you have set it active inside CS before you'd made changes...

Ow and welcome to the forum :)

3. I have everything selected as active file its just that the guy shows up in TESCS but nowhere in game. All the settings are correct. I found a location tab but I have yet to fiddle with it.

1. N/a

2. Construction set, for some reason (it annoys me too), only allows a certain amount of different textures per cell. Your little texture problem is because you have two exterior cells that are linked together. Where the texture cuts off is where the two cells are attached. Apparently, the cell where the texture doesn't appear is already full on its texture load, the only thing you can do is delete some of the existing textures in that cell to make room for the one you're trying to apply to it. I wouldn't recommend that though, since deleting textures from cells is something that could cause problems. I would recommend finding a texture that both cells have in common, that way they'll link seamlessly.

3. As for your npc problem. I'm guessing you actually put him in your render window? Did you just use an already existing NPC and place him. If you did, make your own new one by changing the editor ID and select "yes" when prompted to create a new form.

Other than that I honestly have no idea

2.Ah its seems that you're at an edge of a cell..Try moving (far) away in the direction of that problem in CS.

So right now..Go far to the left and select objects (trees, rocks, whatever ) so the cells loads another segment.

Some editing issue...don't know the official solution...but that mostly works for me..

3. Now I know you've vista, could you snip one or two pictures. At least one with the reference-settings of the npc.

(when you double click on it in the render/world window)

--edit--

;D

Try and hit the persistent reference button..if that doesn't help.. I don't know what's wrong...

Is there any particular reason why he's blindfolded, or didn't you select any hair :)?

And have you placed any pathgrid? Maybe he hid/fell behind a wall...

Edit Cell Path Grid

= Right click, to create a new point (you'll get a red object). Ctrl-Left click to link points together..

The other functions are explained at the link....

To view pathgrid..select this button (highlighted in yellow)
