BlackPegasusBP Posted August 19, 2023 Share Posted August 19, 2023 So it's entirely possible this is way simpler than I think and I'm missing something obvious, but I can't find how to apply the ability damage modifier to an attack without applying the entire weapon attack ("DealDamage(MainMeleeWeapon"). I can force add a modifier, like "+StrengthModifier", but I don't know how to make it use DEX if it's finesse, or whatever other ability if the weapon attack ability is overridden (like with Pact Weapon)For context, I'm trying to mod Sweeping Attack to add the damage modifier for the weapon. I could just make it use the max from Strength and Dexterity, but then I think it could use Dexterity even if the weapon isn't Finesse, and it still wouldn't account for other overrides.If someone already happens to know this, throw me a bone please?
