Dragonator Posted June 22, 2009 Share Posted June 22, 2009 Hello. I installed the Harvest [Flora] mod and loved it. It makes spotting unharvested plants much easier. Then I installed Herbalism but it doesn't work if I overwrite the file "Harvest [Flora].esp" and when I do it seems to work in Cyrondiil but always fails to harvest and it doesn't work at all in The Shivering Isles. Also, if I deselect the Harvest [Flora] mod from the installer and/or remove the files from the Data folder then all the plants that I have harvested while having this mod, and thus modified, now turn into huge orange "WTF! I'm missing a mesh." stars. Is there any way to go around this? Please help. EDIT: I managed to find Harvest [Flora] v3.0.0 and it seems to work for now. But what is this harrada bug I read about? ILikeFudge Posted June 22, 2009 Share Posted June 22, 2009 Well,it doesnt work in Shivering Isles because its not meant to be played with SI.The huge orange things appear when you are missing meshes or textures (not sure which one)=deselecting the mod.Try seeking for SI patch of that mod. But I've googled that bug and found out that the game will crash if I approach a Gate of Oblivion with this mod activated. I might be able to just deactivate it when I have to do that but it's kind of a pain and I haven't tested this out yet. However I've seen there's a fix for this. ILikeFudge Posted June 22, 2009 Share Posted June 22, 2009 I dont know,since I never installed that mod myself.I suggest patching to the latest version and checking out this:http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=oblivionmods.Detail&id=202 It should give answers to your questions.About that Oblivion Gates and the mod:It's total b******p.Bug so big should be immidiately noticed by the person which created the mod.If mod doesnt work after all,I suggest unistalling it.If it makes you turn it off EVERY time you approach the gate (and there are A LOT of gates),then its very crappy and worthless.Try this,and if doesnt work,send me a message,and Ill try installing the mod on my computer,to see the problem myself. ;) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Dragonator Posted June 25, 2009 Author Share Posted June 25, 2009 I've been playing the game for some time now but Haven't encountered any oblivion gates yet because I'm focusing on the side missions and haven't advanced past the 3rd Main mission yet. The mod works fine for now. I've tried updating the harvest [flora] mod but it doesn't work with the auto harvesting mod. Anyway, I'm good for now. I'll just stock up on alchemy ingredients for when the oblivion gates show up and then just drop the mod if it crashes too often and I can't find that patch. But still... if anyone knows of a patch for the v3.0.0 harvest [flora] that doesn't require updating it to v3.0.1 please let me know. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
