RyuTakahashi117 Posted August 21, 2023 Share Posted August 21, 2023 Everytime I load into SKyrim, it says (Afterlife) Papyrus Extender not installed, Version 4,5,6 required. Make sure that you have all of the required files for Papyrus Extender installed for the version of Skyrim you are using. There is a modding.wiki page ( https://modding.wiki/en/skyrim/users/skse-plugins ) that helps to summarize (and give links to) which SKSE and SKSE-dependent files match each version of Skyrim. If you install a version that does not match, it does not matter how many times you uninstall and reinstall. I use Afterlife in my game. If your error message is telling you to use version 4.5.6 or Papyrus Extender, that implies to me that you do not have the proper (version matching) files installed, since there is a newer version of Papyrus Extender.
