OBSE Not working!

Hey, so OBSE will no longer launch. Whenever i use the shortcut nothing happens, so i go into the oblivion folder and double click OBSE_Loader.exe and it won't do anything. Nothing pops up, it's like it doesn't even read OBSE_Loader.exe. This has happened before but i made a fresh reinstall (deleted all my mods) and it worked fine. I loaded alll my mods back up and it still worked fine. Then i remembered that i needed to install High Rez Skin Textures for HGEC v1.2. After I installed the High Rez Textures OBSE no longer launched. Can someone please help me with this, i really want to play with obse dependent mods (like deadly reflex, and stealth overhaul). Any advice at all is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It's not OBSE. It's more likely the skin textures. They are what you did most recently.

Are they the only thing you did ? Did you do anything more than just put the textures

in the folder ? Is this Ozmo's mod ? It needs to be done correctly as it has lots of options.

Having said that, the game should still launch, but there are a lot of variables that

can sometimes make a simple thing like a misplaced texture crash the load instead of

showing up pink.

Yea that was the only thing i did then it wouldn't work. And yea it's Ozmos mod, but it just had .exe file to run so it installed all the files for me automatically. The game will launch without obse, just not with obse. Any suggestions on how i can fix this?

I don't know why OBSE would stuff up as the body textures shouldn't

involve OBSE.

Have you tried an earlier save ?

Or perhaps reinstall OBSE.

What about other mods that require OBSE ? Maybe try deactivating them and

then make a new save and reactivate them one at a time.

One more note on the body textures -

The game launches with out OBSE, but are the female textures working ?

If not read on -

Although the body textures should not involve OBSE it may still

be worth a close look at your install. I have only used two of the

textures myself, not the whole mod, but I see in the read me that

you are to rename the textures you use, so it may be worth checking

the spelling, including things like no gaps and lower case letters, of the texture files.
