SiniVII
There is no grass, no ground, no solid rock, only empty walls floating in the air and a few floating doors as I am swimming in the water I never knew existed beneath the Oblivion ground. When I am inside houses the floor is in place. Nothing wrong with interiors. But in city's and the general wild, there is nothing. Every NPC is swimming in what reminds me off a giant sea, The imperial city walls are floating in the air, boats are gone, everything. Only a few unfilled objects around here and there. Ohwell atleast I finally got my CM partner working... This is a massive problem I really can't put my finger on. Basically, there is no ground. bben46
A mod load order might help us figure it out. Getting a load order list from OBMM Of course you have to be running OBMM first to do this. On the right, click on the box that says Import/Export Select the top entry on the drop down list, View Load Order Your load order will be displayed. Note that any inactive mods will not show in the list. On the top left, click in the disk icon – a save box will pop up. First you need to tell it where to save your list – the desktop is a good place and easy to find. Next, go down to the second block at the bottom to select the save as type: Pick Plain Text (*.Txt) Now, in the File name block type in a name, such as Load List-1 Copy and paste the load order directly into to your post. If you want to keep a copy for your own use, make a text file and past the same list into it. Then 'save as' and give it a name that you will remember, such as Load list-1.txt Be sure to manually input that you are using OBMM and if you are using them, OBSE and Wrye Bash as they are not really mods, but utility programs and will not show in the list. BOSS is another utility, also used outside of the game. If you are using BOSS, you will need OBMM also as any mod not recognized by BOSS will be placed at the end of the load order. OBMM will allow manual placing of mods in the load order.

bben46
If the earlier saves are Ok, then it's something that happened or was changed between the last good save and now. Something changed. There is a function in OBMM that will show what saves were active for each save. and the load order for each save. Including the streamsaves from the streamline mod, your last autosave and a backup autosave (one autosave before the last autosave) If you have had multiple characters, each will have their own set of saves here. But only the last character used will have the autosaves. Open OBMM, look on the right and click 'Utilities' on the menu click 'Save Manager' Every save you have will be in the list. In the load order that was used. From the OBMM help Save games are colour coded. Red saves are dependent on plugin which are not currently active. Saves turn orange if a plugin is active which the save does not depend on. Green saves mean that the active plugin list matches up with the save exactly. Plugins are also colour coded. Green plugins are active. Red plugins are inactive. Black plugins mean that the plugin file could not be found Click on the last good save and record the list. If you figure out how to copy and paste from here let me know. Now click on a bad save and compare them.
SiniVII
Allright, updates to my problem. The older saves are... Having the same issue. Objects floating, the ground is gone. But thats the problem! Only the GROUND! (Ground made by mother earth of tamriel hopefully) is gone. Streets and stuff are still in place, since they are different objects and is separate from the vanilla ground itself! Which means that I can walk on the sidestreets in let's say: Chorrol, Skingrad, ETC. Havent tried the imperial city yet but I guess it's the same. Poking around in the folders I hoped to find a missing folder or something, but there are so many adds I can't tell which is vanilla and mods. I also tried turning on every ESP to see if one of the MOD's contained the files I needed to fix it, But there was no luck. So I am a little afraid a clean install might be my only option unless I can get the ground working again. I think I have a missing file since the ground is gone, if I can find it I think I'm saved. Question though: If I do a clean install, can I still use my old saves? I've had issues where I do a clean install but can't use my old saves since they just crash.
