Redwyrm
I know taht's not a small request. But it bothers me how game economy owrks, especially since Larian themselves made much better economy in DOS 1 and 2 games.First of all, most common items horribly overpriced. I know devs decided to keep only gold coins as currency, but that still doesn't mean it's ok for some most basic utensils to cost 1gp. For commoners usual daily income is around 1 silver coin (1/10 of gold coin). And cheap tavern meal is around 2 copper coins.Set of basic utensils would cost around 1 silver, and simple wooden bowl wouldn't possibly cost over 1 copper. But even more rare stuff like books and incense would cost just one gold. And since there are no copper and silver coins in game - it would make sense that most common items would cost 0 gold.Second. Resetting vendor's daily really breaks immersion. It should be renewed maybe weekly. And not just resetting their gold, but rather resetting their inventory. Meaning they would resell everything you sold to them for it's base value, and their gold will be set to amount equal of what they sold. Third. vendors should be more restrictive on what's ok to be bartered. I can see that it's ok for most vendors to accept something like gems as alternative to currency. But it's just plain stupid when (let's say) alchemist agrees to trade potions for armor. What would alchemist possibly do with hoard of armor? And lastly. Stealing should be... not even necessary harder, but more immersive. Vendors should keep all their stock in chest, chest should have very hard to pick lock. And all vendors should have at very least one guard who constantly oversees that chest.
