Big visual mod in progress

Hello, I have few of being part of the community but I have enjoyed some very great mods (i love the visual mods) so i decided to make a recompilation of those that i like the most and have no other than visual impact in game and ensemble them into the original Oblivion - Textures Compressed.bsa file.

 

The great part of this is that if I archive my goal, I'll have a 100% compatible visual enhancer "mod" since it won't require any BSA editing or archiveinvalidation. It will work flawlessly, just like an out of the box Oblivion with HD textures and meshes. And then you can concentrate on the game play mods without having to chose between visual and gameplay mods.

 

I have inserted successfully more than 1500 textures + meshes.

Mikes Clothes Replacer (mikegemini)

NOTE: only clothes textures where remplaced

menus icons were too green IMHO

Full Landscape LOD Textures Replacement v1.0 (Blade9722 & Qarl)

 

And I'm inserting the QPTII I'm missing some dungeons and a few towns, and here comes my doubt.

 

Somebody has any idea why there are some textures that I can't change without making other stop working?

I have edited the meshes to fit the new parallax, have been edited to not use the parallax and the textures has been changed from DXT5 to DXT3 or DXT1 when needed to match the original ones without editing the meshes but seems not to work anyways.

 

The most weird part is that those conflicting textures seems to work when I use those only :(

If you plan on releasing this then you'd be better off making a whole new BSA. Releasing even one Bethesda-made texture falls under copyright theft.

 

EDIT: Also make sure you get permission from everyone, as that could lead to even more complications.

Hehe, I'm not thinking on distributing farther than a couple of local friends (my upload speed sux) and i'm not using the original textures at all
