spindelmannen1
Hi everyone, I encountered the same problem when trying to create a multiplayer game with my brother who does not have mods. The solution turned out to be very simple: 1. Go to the folder that your BG3 Mod Manager unpacks your mods into, this is usually something like: user/AppData/Local/LarianStudios/BG3/Mods. You can do this from the "Go" tab in BG3MM. 2. Backtrack one step of the path to end up in user/AppData/Local/LarianStudios/BG3. 3. Create a new folder within the BG3 folder. 4. Drag the Mods folder into it so that the path changes and the game no longer sees the mods when loaded. 5. Restart the game, create a new multiplayer and enjoy! 6. Once you're done with multiplayer, simply Ctrl+Z and your Mods folder will be back in place, so you can continue your main game as usual. Thank you to my genius brother, he is the best. Ithiduar
If you are cross-playing with a console player just delete the Gustav folder. This is what I did and it fixed it instantly. As someone else said, to find this folder: Steam>Baldur's Gate>Manage 2x>Browse Local Files>Data>Mods
