Lu5ck
I am referring to https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/141 The thread is closed so I cannot make any comment there but there is a important thing that the Nexus Team missed out which is does the built-in mod loading works seamlessly with existing mods? I have increasingly encounter mods that doesn't work without the mod fixer and the many different mods' authors themselves also say they cannot get it work properly with built-in mod loading. Today, I check the mod fixer only to found out you removed other up-to-date mod fixer. I think the Nexus Team is causing inconvenient to users who trying to get their mods loaded properly.First by doing a supposedly investigation not from the perspective of copyrights when the original uploader does provide a "Modification permission". I don't know what perspective the investigation is made for anyway.Second by not checking if it works with existing mods properly, I assume Nexus Team assume mods should be updated and not because inbuilt loader is faulty.Third by locking the mod comment page, preventing users to seek answers. Happybara
Since the Silent Patch may have removed the recompiler Larian included so the comments have been unlocked now. The mod fixer was tested at the time with a 3 GB collection and worked fine across saves. If a new mod fixer is required to account for recent patches we would encourage that to be the de-facto mod fixer but would prefer it was not opted into DP. The investigation we made is all laid out but the Full-release mod fixer was the target of drama and so we made the decision to switch to the old one on the basis that it was functionally identical.
