I plan on modding the HUD to remove hitmarkers and XP and Healthbars on enemies etc

Hey so the main thing that bothers me with Bethesda games (and Starfield based on footage) is the in your face HUD elements like hitmarkers, XP, enemy healthbars and the like, all these do for me is get in the way of the actual game, I want to see bullet impact effects and I don't care about how much a kill ups my XP.

Nothing wrong if you do like all that but Bethesda never put in settings to disable any of that like most other games, so If that is the case for Starfield too, I'll be trawling through the files looking for these values to disable day 1.

I also plan on doing a realistic bullet and projectile damage mod more long term, removing some of the RPG elements of the weapons to make them all viable like they would almost certainly be if it was real life.

Let me know if you are interested, or if you have done similar mods for previous games and have any tips, they would be my first mods for a Bethesda game.

Please! I won't buy the game until you've managed to remove this awful HUD! I just watched some gameplay videos, it's all over. It's the thing I respect Ubisoft for, they always allow 100% hud customization (and I always remove everything)
