maybenexttime
For some reason when I add a voice file to the appropriate folders, I am not getting the right voice. For example, one line that I have recorded was "Need a light?" However everytime I preview the sound Randall's voice from NVB1 says "Are you ready to work or not?" Why is this, I have not connected my companion to anything else. This dialogue comes up for every response. My companion has his own voice type I am confused why this is so. spartenkiller897
That's happened to me before, I can't remember the fix, but try recording the dialogue in the geck and edit later with audacity or other similarly program. Look up on YouTube on how to enable lip-Sync. In the geck, it's easy if you have skyrim... Edited January 9, 2014 by spartenkiller897
maybenexttime
I just managed to fix it still don't why the fix works but it does... but now I have different issues. My companion doesn't wait when I tell him to do nor when I fire him, he goes away or to Lucky 38 for some reason. Last issue is the "tactics" dialogue comes up as one of the options before I recruit him. Everything works out fine, how do I fix this?
grigoriprime
What was the fix? I have Lip files and the voice processing files from skyrim ck but i still only get "are you ready to work or not?" as to your new new npc issue check the following: Your dialogues aren't top level/not top level by accident Your linked dialogues aren't in the wrong field (link from instead of choices, etc...) Your conditions in your actual AI packages are set wrong and/or the dialogue result scripts aren't correctly set to switch AI packages
