Dice rolls on screen

Hi there

 

No idea if this is within the bounds of what's possible with mods (now or ever), but I'd love it if we could actually roll the dice on-screen during combat or when making checks and saves in the overworld, like in tabletop D&D.

 

I guess maybe two alternatives - one where the dice appear and you have to manually roll them like for conversation and lockpicking checks currently, and one where the dice appear and roll themselves automatically just to save a tiny bit of time.

 

I think it'd be cool, anyway.

This was the first thought I had, after I heard about the dice rolls in the game. And my second thought was wondering if it is possible to make it as a mod.
