Texture mods not working

Texture mods aren't showing up in my game. I've added the lines I need to the StarfieldCustom.ini and I made sure to put the files in the right place, but the textures stay unchanged. This is happening with every texture mod I've tried. Anyone know what's going on?

I have the same problem.

But really none that I've tried will show in-game. I'm very familiar with editing dds files for Fallout 4, this looks very similar, except for the location of the files. But nope, nothing shows.

Ok, what fixed this for me was a suggestion by user @mwo1480.

 

 

if u made the custom ini and copied the lines from nexus/or this mods main page it put in some things u cant see or remove

use this premade one instead https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/273?tab=files&file_id=260

it should mostlikely fix it

Thanks for this, my game kept deleting my custom ini on launch for some reason. That downloaded ini stayed for some reason tho. Kudos to you
