FokkeTale
The global variable is out of reach, as it stands. And there's no telling what changing it will do to scripts yet - I like to set it to 8 or 6 in Bethesda titles. But console commands give no headway this time, returning 'unknown variable TimeScale' despite it existing in the Global Variables list as 'TimeScale = 15.00'. I'll be able to sort this out myself when the Creation Kit is out, but I was curious if anyone has come up with (or could come up with) a workaround earlier than this. ThrustersOnFull
Seconding! Walking around on New Atlantis is great, but seeing the UT whiz by is really throwing me off. New Atlantis feels right for the span of 24 hours. The CJ's store suggests a day on Jemison is 49 hours but, yeah, not getting that at all lol. Fingers crossed for both of us. Shadowstar
Thirded. Is that even a word? Well, anyway, we need a way to change this. We can't proof our scripts against it until we can actually do it.
tjnewbery
This is what I know so far, Using "set 3a to X" changes the timescale but it resets back to normal every time I get a loading screen. so if you get in you ship it resets, you get out it resets, enter the well it resets, land in a planet it resets and so on. Also when you are landed on a planet the timescale is set to 15. when you are in space or docked in a space station it is set to 5. I think the problem is that there is 2 timescale. Shadowstar
Could just make a mod that lets you change the value of both. I know people have lots of different preferences for timescale, so any such mod should allow the user to set their desired values.
FokkeTale
The main problem with doing that with current methods (bat injection), is that it would work only for the initial load in, and would then reverse after loading into any secondary instances. Using the 'set 3a to X' console command after every loading screen or cutscene seems to be the way to go, until we can actually make esps altering the primary esm. Unless someone finds another command or route about it.
