Well, after you buy from Trader Cricket, the explosive gun, Spray n' pray and from time to time, upgrade the commando perk, you need to use those mods

With the Exotic companion, you can use a chemistry station and make and combine, many of her outfit. The exotic outfit provide 1000 armor power. Exotic can found outside of vault 111

There 2 esp there. i use only the Laura companion esp because she looks better. She can found at Diamond city. You can also use a chemistry station and make 3 of her outfits and combine them with Exotic companion outfits.

 

You can use extra vanilla armor for the left and right leg, only and combine with the previous outfits.

With this mod you can put ballistic wave protection to those previous armors, from MK1 to MK5

 

Make sure you check all the armorer perk to upgrade your leg armors and also check all about Science, so you can upgrade those leg armors.

Fusion City Rising quest mod

After you get in Old North Church building, south of Bunker Hill and finish the quest with Deacon, you can enter Railroad HQ. There you can speak with the new companion Peter. After you recruit him, you can trade with him and get the Sydney ring -use also with Exotic and Laura armors. With this ring, you jump very high like using a jet pack -hold the space button at the keyboard for many seconds. Also this ring give extra 2000 armor power and upgrade the carry weight, give 2000 extra power. This ring also restore the lost health after some minutes, walk to any map.

 

So that's it. Wear and upgrade the ballistic wave and some time, you get the 6000 armor power. i hope, those help many, here.
