Having issues with custom clothing

Hi there, I've had a go at editing some textures and meshes.

I was pleased to see that nearly all my retextures show. except for one.

The last one simply comes up as invisible in game.

This was not the only one from the group that I changed the mesh for, but the other one shows perfectly in the game.

As far as I know the textures are fine, as are the normal maps, the mesh looks good in both blender and nifskope, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

I've made the correct changes in the esp, but nothing shows, just floating body parts.

I've searched for answers for this, tried archive invalidation, but I'm coming up empty.

If someone can please help me in any way, I would be very grateful.

Hi there, I've had a go at editing some textures and meshes, in this case specifically washington's Nine Divine Robes.

This was just for my own useage, and seemed the easiest way, seeing as I have no clue about scripting.

And I was pleased to see that all my retextures show for all levels, apart from the highest one.

My new version of the primates robe appears invisible in game.

I know that mod well; if you look at the credits you will see my name. Since those are new meshes and textures it is the game not finding them. since they are invisble rather than light purple I am relatively certain it is not finding the mesh; double check the mesh path in the item listing in the cs. If that is correct feel free to send it to me and I'll give it a look over for ya.

Thanks for your reply, I've double checked the mesh path, and it is definitely linking to the correct mesh....

So I guess I'll take you up on your offer...

But... I'm utterly new to this, so I'm not actually sure which files you need... um.. nor how to send them...

when you click reply here there is an option to attach a file. just attach a .zip file with the mesh and texture for the primate robe that isn't showing up and the esp.

(or just use tes4files to select all the files associated with the mod and post a zip of that output on 4shared or something)

Thank you once again, the files are too big to attach.. and I had some difficulty with tes4files...

I have though, been able to put the files for the new texture and mesh for the primate robe into a .zip file with the esp, and have uploaded that.

Nine Divines Robes Primate retexture.zip

Hope this is what you need.

sorry for not replying sooner, I looked the files over and there were some issues but I'm not sure if I can fix them.

some how the lost a bunch of the skeleton nodes for the pre-existing robe section. I added those back in but it was still invisible, I'm going to importing and exporting to blender to see if that will fix it but right now I havne't yet fixed it. I do know that it is from the bone loss but since I haven't done any clothing bone weighting I'll have to see but I'm fairly sure that I can fix it.

Thank you for your reply, and not a problem on the length of time, it's nice to have someone trying to resolve this for me. :)

Well I managed to get it fixed, it had lost some bones and the skin instances on almost all the meshes (luckily ones I recognized so was able to grab them with skins (since I do not yet have a good handle on skinning with multiple bones)). however it doesn't look the best. the robe and the over piece clip together see picture.

here is the fixed meshes though do note the clipping so I don't know what you want to do.
