For the last 5 days, I have tried to launch Vortex (ver 1.9.3) as usual clicking the red log-in icon and have been met with the customary webpage asking me to 'authorise'. I click on authorize and get the "authorisation successful', but when I attempt to click the "Log In to Vortex" yellow button I get nothing (not even an animation of the depressed yellow button), and when I go back to the Vortex screen I see the never-ending spinner indicating an unsuccessful load of my info. I have tried numerous times to log in with an API key/token, but Vortex returns an error message indicating "Invalid Token" (upon further investigation the first line states 'Unexpected end of JSON input'. I have even re-downloaded VORTEX (something I read on the help forum entries) to try to make sure I was using the most current version of VORTEX, but this didn't solve my problem. I have been using VORTEX to load mods to my RDR2 game and to launch RDR2 game for several weeks without incident prior to the last 4 or 5 days. I have not altered the way I have lauched VORTEX since the beginning. Any idea what I am doing wrong or what the problem is? As you may already have determined, I have only recently moved from console gaming to PC gaming and have near zero programming or upper level computer experience, so please try to convey any helpful steps I should take knowing that, if possible. I purchased the RDR2 game thru Instant Gaming; Rockstar distributed an update to their proprietary launcher which I activated, but VORTEX worked successfully for many gaming sessions after that update without issue.
