Gookiga
Hi everyone,It's been a long time since I have visited this wonderful community. Right now, I have Skyrim (Classic LE) with 350 mods and 248 ESPs. So it's a huge modlist. (originally I made that build in 2015 and been playing for 8 years!!)The game is running extremely well (500+ hours of gameplay and very very few crashes) But my SKSE version is 1.7.1.And I'd like to update it to the latest version 1.7.3 (the reason I wanna do this is because I want to install Legacy of the Dragonborn which relies on the SKSE 1.7.3) My question is simple :Is it safe to update SKSE from 1.7.1 to 1.7.3 just like that, by replacing the files, and keeping my mods and my saves? Thank you
showler
Yes. And it won't affect your existing saves in any way, so even if you encounter some completely unexpected problem it is entirely reversible unless you delete the existing saves. So don't delete them. IsharaMeradin
It is safe to update SKSE and continue playing with the existing set of mods. Adding LotD to an existing character run may not be a good idea. If you are starting over, including LotD with the updated SKSE should be fine.
