Walking around your ship while in Orbit

Hopefully someone can mod in the option to manually get up out of the pilots seat while in space. As it currently doesnt seem possible.

 

This plus hopefully the ability to leave your ship and space walk once youve left your captains chair.

i did mange to. i think i held down a button/key. cant remember which but it let me get up and walk about ship while in space. maybe soemone knows the right key or controller button?

By default, on a keyboard, the key to 'Get Up' while in your ship, even while in space, is to hold 'E'. On my dated Logitech controller, it's hold 'B'. You can change the binding in settings. But the prompt to do so never shows up, like when you're on the ground. Seems to work anyway though.
