Barlas Posted June 24, 2009 Share Posted June 24, 2009 If I would make an overhaul for summoning creatures, IE making them last longer at the same cast, give them more abilities, make them stronger, weaker, etc. Would anyone use this if I made it? minion5 Posted June 24, 2009 Share Posted June 24, 2009 hey sorry to say, many mods have already done this. but here are some suggestions that will make it a must download for me: -full cammand of summons- wait, follow, inventory access -unlimited summons -pernament summon (summons never run out) -have it to where you can tell them to gaurd a certain interior, so your lair is kept safe. -have it to where you can appoint up to like 4 summons as essential -you can tell summons to raid cities or caves, you can either join them on the raid, or wait for there return and collect there spoils of war. -other cool unique features, basiclly a summon overhall If all these features and some others that your creative mind can think of, im sure this mod will become popular fast. Hmmm dunno if i could pull of perm summons, but I could possibly make the summon itself last very long. Like maybe 10 minutes each? idk. Hmmm essential summons....now there's an idea! I could most likely make some things CM-ish through the CM partners.esm and make them summonable. That would take a bit though One feature would most likely make the monster you summon more badass. Triforce1 Posted June 25, 2009 Share Posted June 25, 2009 If you have the Wizard's Tower addition, check on the Atronach Familiar scripts for inspiration as to assignable summons. Dialogue choices wouldn't be so tough if you knew what you were doing. I'm sure you do. Also, the easiest way to do permanent summons would be to make a "bring NPC to player" script. Place the critter in an unaccessible worldspace, like a new interior with a room and no doors. Have the script simply pull the critter to the player. The summon is permanent if you add a follow player AI package, as I am sure the goal of this mod would encompass. The original spell would be used to bring the same creature to the player if he got away, or to bring the creature indoors (if doors aren't it's thing). I have such a script if you need it.
