Ranokoa Posted June 25, 2009 Share Posted June 25, 2009 I am going to be making rather soon in my extra free time a mod called Library of Solutions. My intentions of this mod: It will be a library, very organized and categorized, with answers to almost every dreamable problem in oblivion, such as game performance, mod suggestions, mod conflicts, game crashes, ETC. Basically any and all problems that can occur, or just a "need to know" library full of answers. Although this mod will take some time, quite some time, to actually make, it will not interfere with my freetime for modding. Why? Because most of it is going to be on NotePad until i get things together completely, at which time, all i need is 1 weeks worth of coffee to put it all together in the CS. How am i going to do this?Simple. By having people with problems ask em here! Hopefully someone will answer it, i know definetly as soon as i read em i will research the answers hard and long till i find it, and then not only tell you, but copy and paste the question itself, and the answer provided, be it from me or someone else, into notepad. If anyone wants to help, all help is welcome! You can help vastly by simply stating a question you already know the answer to, and then state the answer below it. I will gather the information as stated previously. ANY question, ANY answer so long as it is actually relevant. I will NOT be putting information such as "How much health does a daedra have" or "i accidentally dropped or sold my special item somewhere can you get me another?" kind of nonsense. This will be a compilation of actual questions that are relevant and actual answers that are needed. Im expecting it to take me a long time to make, and im expecting it will have thousands potentially of questions. You can also help me out by asking questions you DONT know the answer to, and hopefully someone will answer it. Either way, i will research the answer personally if someone does or doesnt until i find that they have. Please do ask away, and PLEASE do provide answers to questions you know about, ANYTHING that can help others. I will compile em, put em in a notepad txt file, and save em till im ready. HOWEVER i please implore you to use the associated forums for problem solving that are already existant as they are there for a purpose, and i will most definetly be stopping by on those forums for an info hunt. Such things that are Tesnexus related will NOT be included in the mod, so do not ask and answer questions like "Why do i keep getting logged out?" and such. That has nothing to do with the game itself, and website information has forums specifically made for them that are vastly useful. So, please, if you feel like contributing, put down an answer to a question, and state the question the answer is associated with. Also, simply ask a question. ALL GAME RELATED not website please. Your names will be recorded and put into a book listing all contributers, plus, your name will go in the mod description and readme :) This will be a personal project of mine that will take me possible months, but, at the same time, it will not eat up a whole lot of my modding time until near the very end. I doubt i will cover every question there can be, i highly doubt that, but once i have a compilation of a sufficient amount of answers i will put em together. Thanks for reading! PS: I will also NOT be including tutorials, but i may provide information about how to find them. AS WELL there WILL be information regarding the Construction Set, as this is directly related to the game itself. koskani Posted June 26, 2009 Share Posted June 26, 2009 im having some trouble with the uneccessary violence mod im not getting the options in my misc menu to allow the mod to worki know its installed correctly since i have the master file in the launcher maybe you can add that? lol... Ranokoa Posted June 26, 2009 Author Share Posted June 26, 2009 You proly need OBSE, and, if you have it, please ensure that it is up to date. Also, you do NOT use the vanilla oblivion launcher to launch when trying to work OBSE, you use the OBSE shortcut. It is also possible that even if you get the launcher it is installed incorrectly, so, if all else fails, try reinstalling just for the heck of it. Never know what can happen. Personally i dont use UV, although i have it lol. When it comes to specific mods not working instead of general mods (especially ones that have a drastic change) its best to ask the creator.
