Geonox Posted June 25, 2009 Share Posted June 25, 2009 Is there anyone who successfully made a custom animation in either blender or max? I'm trying to find out how this works for months but so far I still haven't figured out how to do this. Is there anyone who can either point me in the right direction or help me out. I know how to make animations, I just don't know how to export them to make them work ingame. I know it will probably be a lot of explaining but I'm a modeller and I've worked with animations before, only never for games. So I know the basics, about moving bones and setting keyframes. I work with 3d max so working in blender is sometimes realy confusing. I know how to make poses for fallout 3 in blender, I only don't know how to make custom animations. I tried to animate the skeleton the same way you make poses. I made a pose in frame one and set a locrot then moved to frame 100, moved the bones again and set a locrot on frame 100. This makes the bones move between frame 0 and 100, however I don't know if this is the way to make animations in blender. If so I still haven't found out how to export them. I tried to do it the way backsteppo described in his pose tutorial but it doesn't work ingame. Please help...im near comitting suicide lol Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
