SinisterPhish Posted June 25, 2009 Share Posted June 25, 2009 I am SO surprised that there isn't a mod like this - or perhaps I just cant find it: Why not make a mod in which towns can contact the player via radio requesting help defending themselves. Possible scenarios: Arefu radios that a renegade vampire group have been infiltrating the families defenses, and are praying on the residents. Big Town is always in need of defenders against mutant and raider attacks. Little Lamp light has an infestation of giant mole rats TenPenny Tower is under attack from an army of ghouls. I mean... just imagine arriving at TenPenny Tower moments before the onslaught, and bunkering and defending with the residents against hordes of ghouls. The citizens might be just putting out a general call to anyone close, or perhaps a call to the regulators, and several of them also arrive to help... or perhaps you are given a special short wave radio and you are contracted specifically for these jobs? Anyway, I'd just really like a little more quest interaction with communities. It seems like this could be a fun addition to the game for all levels of players, and something to break up the rest of the gameplay.
