Ryuusei Aerial Armor

Ryuusei Aerial Armor is a japanese protoype power armor with flight capabilities...

I don't know if it is possible to add a jetpack effect to Fallout 3. However, I did base the armor design around the idea that it could fly.

 

Its still an early WIP. But hope these screens get you excited... :)

 

The cylinder things under the pauldrons are going to be rocket engines.

I'll add rocket engines to the main rocket pack on its back and to the sockets on his back legs....

finished the pauldron and rocket engine textures... I'll prob edit all my textures in photoshop afterwards so this isn't really the final.

My my my...this thing is epic.

 

 

I think you can get away with giving the player a super jump effect and godding them for the millisecond they land? Or maybe it will automatically fire the rockets again just before hitting and slow the player down?

The problem with super jumping in Fallout 3, is the fact that you'd land in mid air whenever you jump higher than vanilla jumping. The engine is pretty crap when it comes to jumping...
