[Mod Request] Rapiers dual wield with daggers

Would it be too hard to make Rapier swords able to dual wield with daggers like it happens with Scimitars, and then make scimitars not wieldable together with daggers?

 

I don't understand if this is something related with 5e, and I know Forgotten Realms is a Fantasy Setting, but due to the way they are made, those swords are intended to be used in certains ways. Scimitars are supposed to be used one handled and a shield, while rapiers were used together with a dagger.

 

I would be willing to make the mod myself if somebody could point where to start learning or a way it could be made.

It's a 5e thing-- by the rules as written, you can only dual-wield weapons with the "Light" tag. The feat "Dual Wielder" removes this restriction; you can use a mod like Choose Your Stats to add it if you don't want to spend an ASI.

Honestly it's pretty trivial to do this. Find the main WPN_RAPIER or whatever it's named in the Weapon.txt file, and add "Light" to the Weapon Properties.

Of course, then you might as well dual-wield two Rapiers.

 

But yes, this is the way to accomplish it.
