atomicity
I have some issues with creating textures with GIMP. I have the extension and everything, I do exactly everything that this tutorial says (http://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/index.php/GIMP:Retexturing_Oblivion), I apply my texture on the NifSkope model and everything is fine in Nifskope. But when I get the model in the game, the cs tells me that there is no mesh at all. If I use one of my model for armor, I get a invisible body part, like if the noramlmap is missing, but it's not. I have no idea what the problem is, but I'm pretty sure it has something to do with GIMP. Before I used GIMP do my textures, I used photoshop and everything was fine with this program. Unfortunately, I lost the photoshop after my computer broke down. Also, I have Oblivion's latest patch. I don't think this affects anything, but you never know... BossDweebe
I've never had a problem with the Gimp.If you see the texture in NifSkope it is working.Things will often look like they work in NifSkope, but there arevarious factors that will keep them from working in game. What are you doing different from when you last used PS ?Is the file path correct in NifSkope ? It must start withTextures - to work in game. If this is incorrect then pink or black in game. Are you using these as replacers or are they linked via an esp ? CS telling you there is no mesh is quit different from a missing texture.Check the CS link to the mesh. Invisible body part and yellow markers = missing mesh.
