SkyUI Error Code 5, Blue Textures, Infinite Loading Screen

Hi,

I have a couple of issues with my skyrim. The Problems are as following:

- In about maybe 1/3 times i get an infinite loading screen, which forces me to turn of my computer and restart it.

 

- Moreover I seem to get a few blue texture bugs. For example Aelas Bow and some other Companions Shield. I even installed the Unofficial High Resolution Patch, however it doesnt seem to fix anything in that regard. Might it have to do something with either the immersive weapon mod or the midianborn retextures?

 

- The last Problem is that when I open the favorites menu a warning appears saying something about an error code 5 and that i should update and reinstall SkyUI and the FavouritesMenu mod. However both of them are the newest versions. I even reinstalled them and it didnt help.

The blue/purple textures you're experiencing is either due to missing textures if you didn't install the mods correctly, or you're running too many high resolution mods like the DLC and amidianborn ones, and your system can't handle them all, which results in not having enough resources left to load everything.

 

For the Favourites Menu error, are you running another favorites menu mod besides then vanilla/SkyUI one? If so, they are not compatible. If you want to keep that one instead of SkyUI one, you'll have to go into Mod Configuration -> SkyUI and disable the error for it and you won't see that message anymore.

 

 

If you want to use the SkyUI one though, either uninstall the other mod you're using, and go check your data\skse\plugims folder and delete the favoritesmenu.swf file that causes incompatibility issues with SkyUI.

If it really is the case that I run too many texture mods, would more RAM be an answer?

 

I am using the Categorized Favorites Menu 0.1.18. It should be compatible with SkyUI 4.1. At least that is what it says on the mods page.

More RAM might help too or giving up on some textures mods or run lower quality versions of them (made those sacrifices as well).

 

What's on the mod page about SkyUI, that's old information, it was compatible with the old SkyUI 2.2 version that didn't have favorites menu itself. But like I said above, go into Mod Configuration -> SkyUI and uncheck the verification for favoritesmenu.swf. That should stop the error from popping up.

Alright I did as you told me to do. I deinstaled a few mods and it did wonders. No blue textures anymore. Furthermore i unchecked the verification and it worked out as well. No Error messages anymore.

 

However my last problem is still existing. During my test runs earlier i got an infinite loading screen again. Moreover the game froze one time because of that I wonder if that mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/46465/?tab=2&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D46465&pUp=1 does any good and is not outdated? I just found out about it while looking for some possible fixes.

I've been using that mod as well and I can say it does help with infinite loading screens, maybe it doesn't stop them all, but it does reduce their frequency.
