666dante666 Posted June 27, 2009 Share Posted June 27, 2009 i have oblivion GOTYENFR and it used to work but now it doesent since i got my computer fixed i had a NVIDIA XXXX(dont remember think it was 6800) card and now i have a SIS mirage graphics card i have tried un-installing and re-installing many times but it still doesent work is it my graph card? am i doomed? will i ever play oblivion again? should i do a barrelroll? i know i should post info about my cpu but i dont know where to find it if someone tells me how to find it i will gladly post all of it Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

popy528 Posted June 27, 2009 Share Posted June 27, 2009 try getting a program called DxDiag.exe idk how i got it i think all pc's have but click START then click on RUn then type in DxDiag.exe then click OK and if nothings happens idk but it works for alot of people including me. good luck. btw this is how to get ur pc info just let it run and click save all info and then post it here. It's more likely, that after a repair, Oblivion is not correctly identifying your hardware. Changed any hardware lately? Try renaming or deleting the oblivion.ini file (...\My Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Oblivion.ini) Oblivion will then redetect hardware. It will also, probably, not recognize your video card and set everything to medium.
