seeebek Posted January 14, 2014 Share Posted January 14, 2014 Hi guys, I always dreamed about a tool like this. Having a tablet next to my PC and always see where I am on the map. You could always be aware if there is an ore vein near by or other interesting things. My idea would be: 1. Write a mod which would save the players coordinates to a file every x seconds. (probably only config files would be possible) 2. Read the file and provide it (or its content) to the local network by a http server. (this step is probably the easiest) 3. Write an app for Android or IOS with a map of skyrim and add an overlay icon for players position you get from the http server. I would really like to see this with the map of UESP as they have literally everything on it. I never had the time to do it myself and I never played with skyrim mods before. If somebody wants to make this project reality, I would really appreciate it. You could even make some money with the sales of the app if you wanted. Let me know what you think about it.
