species5478 Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 The second 'verse' stirs a thought...the piece has a Native American feel to it. I'm friends with one such individual who speaks of entities who are shape-shifters and would do what Maharg suggests in his work.
Maharg67 Posted October 25, 2009 Author Posted October 25, 2009 Thank you, Species5478, for your feedback.
Herculine Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 I'm standing here up high,Higher than the clouds,Staring at the world below,Lower than the grounds,I see the cities' grace below,The mountain's beauty and the trees,The seas filled with peace. The wonders of the nature here,Still seen by anyone,Below or not, It doesn't matter,You'll see the wonders of the world,That God has kept for you,Greatness of the Nature and Peace. Very nice! I love poems like this one!
Herculine Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 If I could fly I would soar above the clouds and let all my earthly problems fall down to the ocean there they would be cleansed by the great ocean waves so that later I might pluck them up again and they would be much improved If I could dig down faster than a mole or a wombat I would do so and make for myself an earthen womb returning to mother nature's embrace and eating worms for lunch This reminds me a bit of Lewis Carroll...
species5478 Posted October 31, 2009 Posted October 31, 2009 Cool stores! I agree with Dezi, that one is hillarious! I can't wait to read the rest of them, just started to read it. Kudos! My first attempts at poems in English, second language.I'm standing here up high,Higher than the clouds,Staring at the world below,Lower than the grounds,I see the cities' grace below,The mountain's beauty and the trees,The seas filled with peace. The wonders of the nature here,Still seen by anyone,Below or not, It doesn't matter,You'll see the wonders of the world,That God has kept for you,Greatness of the Nature and Peace. Reminds me of my dragon...
