mechine
Something must have gone wrong. Idk, do you run a archive invalidation there's archive invalidation invalidated a stand alone version I think but idk why use that when it's built into FOMM (fallout mod manager) either one does the same thing though Besides that it could be a silly mistake in either the install or a conflict between which mods you are using I think though that the mod in question only retextures one vanilla item making the rest of it new stuff Sometimes loading something in GECK, the GECK will tell a problem Like "there's at least one space after such an such" stuff like that You could also use FO3edit to trace down errors as well as make edits to esp files Plus FO3 has the master update ability you can apply to patch 1.5 for a easy less trouble free fallout. Something else maybe you have another mod that changes the regulators. There's a lot of mods out there that do this.So there very well maybe no problem at all with the punisher mod or your install of itAnd there is another mod in your list that somehow changes the same thing. You pretty much want to avoid using mods that change the same thingbut it doesn't stop us from trying, because sometimes it will workMost times it doesn't though. I don't know if you'll go for it but usually when I install something I don't install right to data I open up the file list an follow it down to make sure things don't get replaced or overwritenUnless it's something I want to overwrite like a messy texture or sound For the most part I open the mod zip/rar archive an follow it down to see what's in it. You can also keep a copy of the zip/rar rather than delete it, who knows you may crash your whole system an have to download all that stuff again, besides haveing the ability to reference that mod's zip/rar to make sure things got installed in the right spot Usually when we make a mistake it's something small an really stupid, but unavoidable... I still do it, I spent like 5 hours on a project that was just cleaning up a mess mesh an texture only to have it crash instantly because of something small an silly I overlooked Something else I've started doing is sort of making my own version of modsWhich in the punisher case would be to open the textures with something like paintnet, or dds converter for photoshop, then tweek an twist the texture Use nifscope to play with the meshes, or adjust, add parts, take away parts The combine those items with the GECK to make a Esp for your mod list. Making mods is kind of hard, and we try really hard, but sometimes we miss things.I spend most of my time fixing little stuff, which is okay because the original mod took care of the big stuff which was the most work anyway. It's all pretty much work though.
