Editing .pak files without Vortex disabling them?

So I use Vortex to mod Baldur's Gate 3, and recently I've encountered a bug in the mod "Fantastical Multiverse" that renders an otherwise exciting race feature almost completely useless.

It's about the Bloodfury feature of the Moroi. Basically, it's impossible to gain Bloodfury points, so you can't use any of the abilities that have those points as additional costs. I don't know much about modding or coding, so I figured the most reliable way to deal with that would be to delete the bloddfury point costs of said abilities. I chekced on other abilities that don't have any bloodfury point costs to see if the code would work ,and I'm positive that I didn't make any mistake. The code WOULD work if only Vortex wouldn't automatically disable it.

How do I stop Vortext from doing that, or otherwise, how do I circumvent that problem and get my changes to work?
