Where did the Dragonborn cross the border into Skyrim?

This is what I have come up with for the Origins of the Dragonborn and why or how I have come to these conclusions. If you don't like them dont accept them.

The Dragonborn was born and raised in the Jerral Mountains that split Skyrim and Cyrodiil. The Dragonborn has often crossed the back and forth between the two nations to purchase goods and wares that they would need; their family is likely long dead now. The Dragonborn was likely captured returning home from Helgen, having learned of a Civil War and decided to prepare to cross the border. This likely raised a few eyes whom reported it to the Imperials at the Rift Camp after seeing the Dragonborn leave towards that way. The Imperials did not get that information till after the Ambush had been deployed and simply picked him up at the time. Lokir was likely trying to steal an horse from Darkwater Crossing and was the Stormcloaks prisoner first. I think the Dragonborn was likely accosted by the bandits at the Ruins of Bthalft before the Imperials swooped him up on their way back to Helgen.

I read a few posts on here that say that General Tullius is a bad guy. However, I think he is under orders by the Emperor to execute Ulfric without trial in order to end the Rebellion as quick as possible as the Aldmeri Dominion and Cyrodiil's legions are pressed in a stale mate along Cyrodiil's Southern borders and a Second Great War is nearing its peak.

Also I believe the Emperor set in motion his own assassination though not knowing who would do the deed. He learned of a new Dragonborn in Skyrim and despite the danger that posed him in skyrim after his cousins death and his double he stayed. He likely saw that Historically only the dragonborn could save and lead man through these dark times as its rightful Leader of the Empire like a dragonborn or decendent has always done successfully in history.

But what if I decide to play an ex-Thalmor Dragonborn who leans to favoring the Aldmeri Dominion?

I view the Official Bethesda Trailor for Skyrim, A male, nord with blue eyes and blonde hair as the Cannon Dragonborn and any other appearance or race as allowed because it is an RPG and the Elder Scrolls have always allowed you to decide some aspects about the character. However Bethesda has also decided that some of the PC's of the past 4 games have set aspects about them. The Eternal Champion; the PC of the first game was born in the 370th year of the 3rd era, the Agent; the PC in the second game is Historically a male born in in the 375th year of the 3rd era, the Neverarine; the PC in the third game is historically a male born before 427th year of the 3rd era and the Hero of Kvatch; the pc of 4th game was born before the 433rd year of the 3rd era, that being because that is the year the Oblivion Crisis began.

In my opinion it makes sense that the Dragonborn was trying to leave Skyrim after learning of the war that he has had no idea was happening. The most recent knews he may have even heard was the end of the Great War.

There is a video on Youtube by Imperial Knowledge which explains some of the characters and their motives and they include lore from the books that were left out of the game. I suggest watching it, if nothing else its something to ponder when playing.

I dont believe Tullius or the Emperor are against the sentiment that the Stormcloaks or Ulfric are about however I think they see a grander picture than Ulfric whom cant seem to see past the Emotional Clouds that seem to fog his normally great tactical mind.

We ought to remember that the Altmer are the most direct decendents of the Aldmer who have always despised the races of man. As Lorkhan/Shor/Shezar; is escentially the God of Man and severed their and their ancestor's connections to their heritage as Gods, Demigods and Atherius. The Aldmeri Dominion would do anything to weaken the Empire so that they could conquer all of Tamriel and once more enslave mankind.
